wow… I’m glad that you get the same impression from Vampire Weekend’s songs.
For me, Vampire Weekend songs are for sunny days and Fleet Foxes songs are for rainy days. Travis songs… always…
For the people in US, this album (Vampire’s Contra) is $3.99 at Amazon as today’s special. (sounds like an ad though…
)
BTW, Fran, why don’t you buy songs at Amazon if you can access Amazon US? Unlike iTunes, they don’t have any restrictions to the downloaded songs.

Good Point. I had no idea. To what restrictions do you refer… I will post a link to amazon too…
Usually, these restrictions don’t do anything. (See…. even you didn’t know that there are restrictions using songs downloaded from iTunes.) However, once your computer is crashed and you want to recover the songs you downloaded from iTunes, it becomes really annoying. That’s why I abandoned iTunes and went to Amazon.
Go to the link below and read 1 How it works and 2 Restrictions. It will fully explain what I’m saying.

FH said Yes I’ve had this with itunes.
I love this band! It’s so fresh! I saw them in 2008 at the Eurockéennes, they played on the stage called beach, it suitd them very well, they rocked. I’m going to buy it. I think they’ve been in the recording studios at the same time as MGMT, I hope MGMT will release semothing this year too. 2010 is going to be a good year for music it seems
Downloaded yesterday, going to see them in April. They are just good, clean fun. (Well, not always clean… “Do you want to fuck? Like you know I do!”) Makes me long for my days as a carefree college girl.
A good album.
Giving up the Gun and Diplomat’s sun are great.
It is a sunny day album.
I got to see them last month. I also agree that theeir songs remind me of sunny days.
