My problem is with her talking about energy, universe etc…
Please don’t get me wrong. I have nothing against her, i think she is a very interesting person. But from a researcher/scientist, i didn’t expect so much… how do i put this… Hmm… Energy and the universe are measurable. Feelings aren’t. I am uncomfortable with a neuroscientist using these terms, while describing a spiritual experience. She could have made her point differently…
I can’t quite explain to you what I think about this. In the end, writing isn’t talking Fran said “Thanks for clarifying.”
Thanks a lot, that was so interesting! And it’s so cool that you both mentioned that cool part of your brain! It’s like science and art are actually equal, just two of the many ways of reaching something.
Hi Fran:) Amazing video, amazing woman, thanks! I’ve been aware of the wonders of the right brain for a couple of years. And I have learned to use it a lot more than I used to do before, through the Silva Ultra Mind System. And it’s true magic. Literally.
Happy hunting in your right brain, can’t wait to hear the songs!xxx
thanks so much for sharing.
I like it when scientists try to make a point by telling their own experiences. That makes it hard to forget whatever they talk about.
It reminds me to Ernst Pöppel’s book “Der Rahmen”. He’s a neurologist from München. I don’t know if there’s an english version, but you’d sure like it.
Thanks again!

love this talk from TED. had a mild stroke a couple years ago, i kind of have a little idea on what she’s talking about which is crazy, that was some weird wild shit though…
i don’t like the way she’s talking science and then suddenly starts preaching…
nice video though. Thanks.
Fran said “By preaching do you mean the bit where she wished we could all find some inner peace by tapping into this “part” of the brain?”
That was the most amazing thing I’ve ever seen. Thanks for posting it.
Oh no, i don’t. I actually like that idea.

Such a delicate machine, the brain…Not to be abused or taken for granted that is for sure.
