    I remember you mentioned him at that radio session in Vienna… (the Radio City cover, right?)
    I’d love to see his Kiss Me Kracow series and how he photographed Salzburg (where I’m from).

    Anyway, fascinating work.

    He is actually my favorite photographer and actually he has inspired my work a lot. Have you seen the documentary that his son did on him a couple of years ago? It’s very interesting but rather sad at them end (due to his alcoholism).

    Wow had never heard of him before due to being a complete idiot when it comes to this but while going through his work seen some of my favourite album covers in there…..hope i can get enough money some day to use his stuff on my records amazing stuff

    I went to an Eggleston exhibition in Cologne in 2003 and fell in love with this picture: http://flavorwire.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/eggleston_untitledplane.jpg
    it is still my all-time favourite photograph, and I don’t even know why.
