God I am so sorry for being away. I have been doing family stuff this past few months. The next year will be busy so this time is precious.
Just been on an amazing holiday and now in New York. It’s so loud!! We went out today to toysarus in Times Square and rode on the big wheel there. Clay was literally a kid in a toyshop.
Thanks for all the lovely comments. I can’t wait to do this Keane tour. Should be very relaxed. So nice to be an opener again.

Nice to hear from you Fran! Did Clay get a new toy in toysarus? My daughter always bypassed the dolls and went straight for the Hot Wheels section, she built up a cool collection of cars when she was a wee girl. She’s 12 now and has kept her best ones in a box under her bed! I’m glad you see your family time as a precious time, because the children don’t stay little for long. Good for you. xx

Hi Fran, I have a question but I don’t know if it’s the right thread to ask it but as the Friday question time has disappeared, please let me ask it here
I was wondering, when you write a song, there is probably not a specific moment for it, you write when inspiration comes, ok . But now, for the next songs you’ll be writing, what will determine if it’s going to be a solo song or a Travis song?

I’m extatic to see you open for Keane July 23rd in Las Vegas. Both Travis and Keane are my favorite bands of all time and I think this will be the best concert I’ve ever been to. I want to ask a favor. “Humpty Dumpty love song” is my favorite song of all time. I can listen to it over and over and never tire of it. I think it would be absolutely amazing if you played it with Keane at the House of Blues show in Vegas. Yours and Tom’s vocals combined with Tim’s piano would be the ultimate musical experience. Please consider it and see what the guys of Keane think aobut it. Thanks

Since Keane opted out of stopping in tropical Cleveland, Ohio, I’m trying to figure out a way to get to the show in Chicago. Hopefully it will be a simple matter of bribing my husband…

We are very excited to see you at the Greek Theatre and hear your new music. We have plans to go camping the following day by the beach, just north of Malibu. You and your family are welcome to join us for s’mores and songs by the campfire if you have time. Our boys are 6 and 2 and love Travis. My youngest is crazy for your ‘Lovely Rita’ cover!
P.S. – We met you in Annapolis, MD at the WRNR Private Showcase last year and I met you twice in L.A. at the amazing Largo shows. I gave you a note (did you ever read it) and some pictures from the WRNR show. Anyhow, we (all four members of our family) love you and will always support you!! Hey, I went to Holyrood at the same time as you did and I remember seeing you around and just wanted to say I love your music and to think that you where in the same school as me yet went onto become a star is amazing. I also just read a little bit of your song about Peter Mullen, gave me a laugh especially his “pie and beans”. I miss those days. I also remember you were hanging out with one of the Hamilton twins, I dont remember which one but i remember her telling all of us at the ice skating in the St Enochs centre, ha ha. well good luck with all your future plans. xxxx

Hello, Mr.Healy. I am a Travis’s fan in Shanghai, China. I like your music very much. I think you are so talented that you can always write wonderful melodies. Your band often use banjo in your songs ; it sounds a bit like the Chinese instrument,peepa. I am going to learn to play the guitar in the summer vacation. I passed the national college entrance examination recently. Though it is painful for me to play the guitar for the moment, I’m determined to learn.
Welcome to Shanghai World Expo. And the appearance of UK Pavilion in the Expo park is impressive and unique.
Hoping one day Travis will hold concerts in mainland China. I’m really looking forward to it!
