Thanks for putting this up here – I couldn’t get the spin.com link to work and was going nuts. I’d already listened to the acoustic Youtube vids from the first couple of gigs but the album version is simply stunning Fran. Can’t wait for October now – will it be a general European release or just the States and the UK at first?

Hey Fran… loved it! I read in Twitter that your birthday was pretty good and funny, although the almost crash of your friend’s car
and I also read you’re gonna se Inception!, you have to see it, it’s really good! and btw I think that photo is the best one you have! Last night I saw the Travis DVD “Singles” and laugh my head off, it is pretty funny, my favorite part of that CD is when you say you see Tony Bony… EVERYWHERE! haha and of course, when you showed us the studio where The Beatles were… it was so much fun, hope to see you guys in Mexico soon!

This may be a strange thing to write in public, let me say your music has been in my life for so long I don’t even remember how it was before I discovered it. You’re like a dear friend. Every time I am to listen to some new material, it’s both exciting and scary, I never know if I connect. But this one is simply beautiful. ‘Buttercups’ is certainly my favourite song for a long time.

Anyways, happy belated birthday! My best friend is also ´73. I am 76, so I will wait for my 67 a bit longer…
Would it be possible to put some pics with Clay here too? I remember one reealy beautiful one, nearly artistic photo, where it´s you and little Clay (hanging on your chest) near some black door. Photo with nice sharp basic colours. Years ago, can´t remind, where I saw it, but I did remember that beauty very well.
BTW, I like your writing in “diary”. I´ve been reading it even couple years ago on old travisonline website…(the comments to the making videoclips for the Writing to Reach you, Love will come through /in Poland/)… also nice people in chat were there in those times… you´ve been “lurking” often

Hey there Fran. I ve been offlie from like a week and when i back i found great news because here is the single of wreckorder.
I have listened to it at least 20 times since i found it and i have to say is great !!! the melody is so good and your voice sounds better than ever, you are definitely in your best moment.
I Can’t wait to here the whole album, october can’t come soon enough.
Just one last thing Fran, promise me and all your fans, that no matter how successful yo get with this solo project (which by the way i think is gonna be huge) you are going back with Travis soon and you will never let them behind. ^_^
