Vancouver “Anything Stripped”

31 August 2010

While watching the KINK session I noticed this popped up on youtube after the KINK video stopped… It was filed at the now infamous Vancouver Stripped show where I did the entore set off mic. So happy to find a great video recording of this. Happy that the mic on the camera wasn’t as good as the ears in the room. It sounded so much better than this. There is something huge about listening to sound and image¬† matched up. The whoe idea of the strippd set was a fuck you to amplification. I dont really like live music amplification. No human sounds that loud. If it’s loud then your ears miss alot of stuff alot of detail. Anyways… I gonna hot the sack… night… Oh PS had a lovely evening tonight with Paul from Maximo Park who was in town today.

Zoe Ball

28 August 2010

When I saw Zoe today we both gasped for the same reason… We hadn’t seen eachother for about 10 years!! And here we were all grown up and parents and all that stuff. Range Life was nice although Steve Malkmus ‘s voice is a beast which cannot be tamed. I watched the entire Dermot production team lean forward when they thought I was going to say Fuck… I said fudge…

So after I created the Dermot Ball ¬†below, I thought what would it be like when Fearn Cotton caretakes The Chris Moyles Breakfast Show. I’m sure you’ll agree, it’s a hideous creature. It’s the Fearn Moyles.

27 August 2010

Hey people. Tomorrow I’ll be on the Dermot O’Leary Show on Radio 2. He’s on holiday with Zoe Ball filling in. I took the opportunity to exercise my photoshop skillz to bring you Dermot Ball. Maybe a fan of Rush. Anyways I’ll be on the show at around 5pm so tune in if you are in the UK or online if you are near a computer and want to hear me murdering a perfectly decent song of someone else as well as playing my own stuff. If you don’t live in the uk you can listen to it here and here

Hello From Heathrow

26 August 2010

Hello people of 58 countries (according to my web stats) Today is supercool giveaway day. If you look over to the right, there is a lil widget which, when clicked, will give you the Track HOLIDAY absolutely FREEEEEE… This is the song that started the whole solo idea. Andy Dunlop plays on it… That’ll be those beautiful arpeggio guitar lines you hear in the background. Prolly the most Travissy out of all the songs because of this… so enjoy. Here is a picture of me in the fantastic T5 Executive CLub Lounge … Posh! Also E.T. came to say hello while I was sitting here…
