Hello!
Fantastic news that you are headlining our highland shindig “The Tartan Heart Festival” (Belladrum) in August! When they were looking for suggestions for acts after last years “fantastic” festival….we suggested you!! We saw you in the Ironworks in 2008 and had a brilliant night – thanks
So looking forward to seeing you guys in August….think you might just love it too!!! xx
From India,
I used to follow your blog regularly but kind of lost touch last few months. Starved for new Travis music quite honestly. This post doesn’t really have a point; or maybe it has many.
I wont get into cliches and tell you I’m the biggest fan in the world etc. There are others surely who love you just as much or maybe more. I was listening to ‘Sarah’ last night and it brought back memories. A few years ago when things were going terribly for me, I similarly listened to Sarah. I couldn’t stop the tears then. Only just could yesterday. I felt I needed to let you know again (I have before) what power your music holds.
The first Travis song I heard was ‘Closer’ while playing FIFA 2007 as it was included in the game’s soundtrack. I didn’t really like it. Then I heard it again when a friend gave it to me and I was blown away. Now it is easily in my top 5 of all time. I could list 40 songs in a jiffy and how they changed me. Colder not the least among them.
Awaiting a visit from you to India (to Pune specifically. Bryan Adams recently came by). Or else I will have to make that pilgrimage to a Travis concert. I am in your debt unquestionably. I dont think this has been written in a gush of emotion. This is what I consistently feel for the last 5 years.
Now I realise that there is a point to this post. I will sum it up in two words:
Thank You.
FIFA 2008. typo.
I don’t know what happened to my previous comment. But I want to thank you for your music. Just want to let you know what power it holds and that i am indebted to you because of it.

I just wrote to my agent and said he should try and get a gig booked in India. I mentioned your city. Travis won’t be touring until next year so we’ll wait and see. Sorry we haven’t been there yet… I would love to come. Thanks for getting in touch best Fran
Will not hide the fact that I am extraordinarily happy that you replied. Feels really good to know you actually take into consideration us fans’ demands. I will attend a Travis concert within a few years I assure you. And then I will thank you properly.
Thank you again.
