Hi Fran it’s Sam. It was a pleasure meeting you last night and it was great to chat. Wish I could see you at one of these shows to see a full set. Last night was a big tease! Still great and inspiring though. “As You Are” brought back memories of me listening to the album and eventually bugging the school guitar teacher for lessons 🙂

    Hi Fran,
Just wanted to say it would be great to see you do a few more shows back in the UK. I’ve grown up with your music and have seen you a few times over the years.. saw you a couple of months ago at Bush Hall.. a great show did’nt realise how witty you are! I hear they’re looking for guest performers at the John Lennon remembered concert at the Echo arena on the 9th Dec would be awesome to see you play there:) anyway Love the new album.. Best Wishes Neil

Hi Fran! Thank you again for coming to Lawrence, KS!! The show was amazing tonight! We are in love with “Buttercups”! Thank you for making the night special for our family by posing for pictures and signing a couple items! You are our favorite songwriter of all time and we very much appreciate your kindness and generosity! Thank you for posing for a picture with my wife Kelly and our 11-week old boy Henry! My dad Jim was so pleased you remembered us all from when we met you the first time with Travis at your 34th birthday party in Lawrence at Liberty Hall! You are an amazing person, best of luck on the rest of the tour and we hope to see you soon! Here is a link to the photos we took together on Facebook:

FRAN! I did not have the internet on the cruise ship for our honeymoon! Please play Flowers in the Window for Lindsey on Tuesday in Chicago! I hope you read this, it would be so great to top off a lovely wedding/honeymoon with her favorite song from our favorite artist!

It was great seeing you play in Lawrence KS this past Saturday.
Thanks for remembering us, and thanks for posing for a photo with the new grand boy.
Your kindness will hold fond memories for us always.
The time we spent with you and the guys during your birthday party will live in our hears.

This morning, I woke up and thought to myself — “I wonder if Fran Healy is listing any new dates on his blog.” And then I came here and found out you are gonna be in Austin on by birthday. Sometimes, life is so, so good.

  14. Kirsten says:

Not to be a pain, but any chance can you play “Driftwood” in Philly? My friend whom is going with me loooooooves that song and it would make our night if you could play it. If not, I understand. Can’t wait until tomorrow night! 🙂

  15. Michael says:

Can’t remember if I already posted this – but I’ve been meaning to ask what you thought of the wine I gave you in Portland … good stuff, eh? Very sustainable too!

  16. franhealy says:

AHhh… I drank it aboard Brandons bus on the second last night. It was very nice. Thanks again.

  17. josette says:

Fran; how can I find out more about the guy that opened for you in Philadelphia on 12/3 I think his name was Foley but not 100% sure. His music was pretty good, I would like to hear more. Awesome show! As always 🙂 I got to meet you after the show this time and you are soo sweet. It is great that you take time out for your fans. Thanks for a great evening!

  18. Linda says:

Why not come to Dublin, Ireland?

  19. Maha says:

I first saw you with Keane at the Williamsburg Waterfront. You were absolutely incredible. I would love to see you at the Bowery Ballroom but I’m under the age of 18 🙁
Please have another show in the New York City area soon!
