Radcliffe And Maconie

19 January 2011

Next Monday I’ll be on the Radcliffe and Maconie show. I’ve known Mark forever. His producer was responsible for getting us to play the infamous Britney Spears cover. People still seem to take that as an ironic cover but it never was. Anyways Mark is a dear and still the smartest and funniest on radio. Here he is with his mate and co presenter Stuart. Mark hasn’t changed a bit however live radio seems to have aged Stuart these past years.

I don’t think the guy with Mark Radcliffe is Stuart Maconie. He seems to be squeezed in at the right edge of the photo.

I just read the last sentence! Yes, age has definitely not been kind to Stuart.

yeah but isn’t it funny that an xfactor contestant can do a version of the song and everyone is just like ‘yeh, sure, why not,’ without thinking that it has to be ironic. Ich weiƟ nicht.

  4. Amy says:

Y’know, I don’t even know why I put that about the xfactor – because of course it is taken at face value – it has no depth, and it is supposed to be simple and not thought about. So yeah, nevermind! I suppose it was just the thought of modern pop ‘music’ that was bugging me.

Not really sure what any of you are really talking about. Please don’t try to explain either.
