Been getting a load of messages asking about tickets so…

I’m playing a benefit concert for the charity ONE FINE DAY. I thought to ask my friend, pianist and  songwriter for Keane Tim Rice Oxley if he might like to help out. Of course he said yes. The idea was loosely to play some Keane hits within my set… To some this could be seen as torture worse than water boarding but hopefully there are some out there who would maybe enjoy an evening of this kind of thing. Tickets are €25. I’ll have a quartet as my backing band and support comes from Morten Mykelbust, a talented new songwriter I met recently in Norway. There will also be a DJ. And I guess it’s Halloween so maybe wear something… Word.

This is a great idea. Would love to see you guys. Travelling from lyon may be tricky though. Wonder if my friend Lucile would like a Halloween weekend in Berlin. If she does, we’ll see you there 🙂

  2. Gudrun says:

Hearing you belt out Keane songs might be an experience I´d never forget, but 1500 km prevent me from being there in time…:-(

  3. Kerstin says:

Great idea! You can be sure there are some people who will really enjoy that evening! 😉 Traintickets from Hamm, Cologne and other parts of Germany were already booked yesterday for the 31th!

Would love to go to this! Strangely enough, I’ll be in Europe on Halloween but in the Basque region of Spain. Too bad it couldn’t be the weekend of the 12th of November. I’ll be in Deutschland that weekend. 🙁 Have fun!

    Hello! Bonjour Debbie!
This sounds very tempting indeed, and fun!
I will do my best to be there, I remember when with Debbie and Lucile we said we were ready to travel a bit more to see Fran & Travis 🙂

    Alright Fran,

Im glad to see your still playing away. Im interested to know what your plans are for the remainder of 2011 and for 2012 in regards to touring. I noticed you did a fair bit of touring throughout the year in America and Europe and other parts of the world.
You never played a gig in Ireland. Is there a reason for this?
Myself and my friends our big fan’s of your solo stuff and Travis and would love to see you play.
Will you let me know if you intend to play Ireland in the near future.

I’ll be there, Fran. Coming all the way from Saint Petersburg, Russia – and 1500 km are no stopping me! Because seeing two guys from two of my favourite British bands together on stage would be just an awesome experience)

I wish I could go 🙁 when will you play in NYC?

  10. Barry Wallace says:

Hello Fran….. would it be possible you could put us 3 tickets behind the desk and we’ll pay when we get there. (We’ll be travelling from UK) Going to see Ryan adams in York on the 28th of October then got a friends wedding in London on 29th…so if we came over to see you perform in Berlin on 31st that would just top the holiday. Just seen you perform at the BBC Proms in Dundee….was amazing with all the orchestration. It’s weird though ….I know it sounded amazing when they where doing Andy’s solo bit but Andy’s solo still outstrip’s the lot of them. Any new’s on a new Travis or Solo record Fran? bazx

P.S: Got cool photos from Dundee Caird hall, think it was October 1999…..The Man Who had just went double plantinum. We where at the barra’s the day before chatting to Mr Andy Mc Donald, he was telling us that you’s had just been to Japan and it was crazy out there, getting mobbed everywhere you went. Anyway I got a great pic of you and dougie moaning at the sound guy at the sound check in the caird hall lol.
