Vancouver “Anything Stripped”

While watching the KINK session I noticed this popped up on youtube after the KINK video stopped… It was filed at the now infamous Vancouver Stripped show where I did the entore set off mic. So happy to find a great video recording of this. Happy that the mic on the camera wasn’t as good as the ears in the room. It sounded so much better than this. There is something huge about listening to sound and image matched up. The whoe idea of the strippd set was a fuck you to amplification. I dont really like live music amplification. No human sounds that loud. If it’s loud then your ears miss alot of stuff alot of detail. Anyways… I gonna hot the sack… night… Oh PS had a lovely evening tonight with Paul from Maximo Park who was in town today.

When I saw Zoe today we both gasped for the same reason… We hadn’t seen eachother for about 10 years!! And here we were all grown up and parents and all that stuff. Range Life was nice although Steve Malkmus ‘s voice is a beast which cannot be tamed. I watched the entire Dermot production team lean forward when they thought I was going to say Fuck… I said fudge…

So after I created the Dermot Ball below, I thought what would it be like when Fearn Cotton caretakes The Chris Moyles Breakfast Show. I’m sure you’ll agree, it’s a hideous creature. It’s the Fearn Moyles.

That was a cool 3 months. It’s been great. I’m sitting in the lounge at JFK waiting to board. 3 months fly by. The next 3 are going to be busy… lot’s of stuff coming up. More news later… well sooner than later. Exciting times.

A friend and I dined at a raw food restaurant “Pure”. I drank some wine which tasted unbelievable. I haven’t had alcohol for a month and a bit… I also broke my sugar fast… with the above. No headaches I’m glad to say. Going to Philly today to do a radio session at the brilliant World Cafe. Then I’m going to head back to NYC and listen to the vinyl cut of the record before signing off on it. Then I’m heading back to Europe. I’ve been in US since May 10th. So much has happened.
